The Brief

We were requested to install an air conditioning system in a purpose-built structure on our client’s property, which had been converted into a dog grooming salon.

The space was experiencing excessive heat due to the use of dryers and other equipment, and the client required an effective cooling solution.

Installation Overview

A straightforward back-to-back installation was carried out. This involved installing the indoor unit and outdoor condenser, then connecting them with insulated and trunked pipework, as requested by the client.

Testing & Commissioning

The system was pressure and leak-tested using nitrogen to ensure the pipework could withstand refrigerant pressure. It was then vacuumed to remove any moisture, which is essential for efficient operation.

Final Setup

Once all preparatory checks were complete, the system was charged with refrigerant, powered on, and fully commissioned. Final checks confirmed proper function and accurate temperature control.
